Uty123 is so right. The other parent goes through a lot of doubt, self doubt and other emotions after an abduction of their children by their spouse or X. Also, to even try and fight a narcisitic, sociopath, minipulator, pathalogical liars, PAS and some such, is near impossible.......Especially the rare person who has all of those intertwined.......It is always the children who are going to be the losers but, to win and to get revenge is formost in the perpetrators minds!! - Julie

Same here Roosters, my X took them from Malaysia to Australia. They are there on a tourist visa. I am in contact with the Australian immigrations though because my X should have shown the Custody court order which she didnt. Now I am waiting for a translation of the court order which takes weeks here. Then I think I can have hers and the visa of the children revoked. But I am already this far that my X cannot apply for a new visa without showing appropriate court orders or my consent because she has been put on an alert list. I hope my case will go faster than yours, sorry to hear that it is taking so long. Maybe we can share information. I have a lot of information already, always need more and maybe i know things you dont know. - sander tje

My children were taken by their mother without consultation last August. I know where they are but cannot make contact. I did get Child Services to go out and they said they are fine. I have gone through 9 months of slow moving processes and still haven\'t reached the FLC stage. My X refuses to mediate but can\'t be forced. I worry what my children are being told and the emotional impact it will have on the 4 of them

The Damage can last a life time

I was one of those children and everything said here is so very true. Parental abduction leaves scars that last a life time. I think it is important to understand the reason for abduction is most often revenge or to some how play gotcha with the other parent. The child\'s safety is very seldom the reason for the abduction. No matter what the reason the child suffer\'s and that is the point. Causing one to suffer that is Absolutely dependant with no choice in the matter, can in my view not be excused. - uty123
